Go Trailblazers!
Babcock Neighborhood School and Babcock High School are in the process of starting an athletic program from the ground up. It takes a ton of work, support, and funding. The foundation has been laid at BNS and BHS, and the walls are ready to be built. Our goal is to raise well-rounded student-athletes with support, encouragement, and positivity from our community.
Students and families should utilize the ParentSquare app for athletics and individual team communication. Please contact the coach or Athletic Director for tryout, team, and ParentSquare group information.
We’re excited about the future and the sense of pride a growing athletics department will have on the entire town of Babcock Ranch. If you have any questions, are interested in coaching, refereeing, or volunteer positions, or would like to financially support our growing program, please reach out to our Athletic Director, Ms. Leighia Murphy at lmurphy@babcockneighborhoodschool.org.

Welcome to another exciting year at BNS/BHS! As the Director of Athletics, I’m thrilled to kick off the year with a renewed sense of purpose and a deep commitment to our student-athletes. With a solid foundation already in place, I’m confident this year will be one of growth, success, and unforgettable moments.
The spirit of a Trailblazer is built on unity, resilience, and a relentless drive to lead, not just in competition, but in character. We are many teams, but one family. We train together, grow together, and rise together. On every field, court, track, and course, we carry each other because when one succeeds, we all move forward. That’s the Trailblazer way.
We will continue to foster a positive and supportive environment where student-athletes can thrive. Sports play a powerful role in student development, teaching discipline, teamwork, leadership, patience, academic focus, and perseverance. Our mission is to provide every student-athlete with the support they need to reach their full potential. This includes top notch facilities, experienced coaches, and a culture that encourages excellence in both academics and athletics.
To our parents/guardians and supporters: It’s important to remember that not every student will start, earn a scholarship, or win a championship. These are realities of competition. However, every athlete will gain valuable life skills and, for many, lifelong friendships, and those rewards are priceless.
I encourage all students to get involved this year, whether as athletes, volunteers, or spirited fans. I personally would like to invite our parents and community members: if you want to help continue growing a strong athletic program, consider joining our Trailblazer Boosters.
Stay up to date on athletics by visiting our website, joining our ParentSquare groups, and following us on social media. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to me or any member of our athletic staff. Thank you for your continued support of Trailblazer Athletics.
Lead the Way. Every Play.

You are more than just players. You are leaders, role models, and Trailblazers in every sense of the word.
Every practice, every game, and every moment of effort is part of something bigger than wins and losses. It’s about who you’re becoming. Athletics teaches lessons that will outlast your time in a uniform: discipline, resilience, teamwork, integrity, and heart. These are the qualities that will shape your future far beyond the scoreboard.
There will be challenges. Not every game will go your way, not every season will end in a championship. But every step forward—no matter how small—is a victory in growth. And that’s what true success looks like.
Wear your jersey with pride, compete with purpose, and never forget that your character matters more than your stats. You represent your school, your team, your family, and most importantly, yourself. Never Settle. Never Quit.
Together we are ONE.
