Babcock Schools recognizes the importance of and crucial role of parent and guardian involvement. Our volunteers don’t just give of their time, they give of their hearts. Babcock Schools is fortunate to have many passionate parents and guardians who do both on a regular basis.
Purpose: To positively impact the lives of those in the Babcock Schools community through organizing, funding or otherwise supporting initiatives that enhance learning and support the health and well-being of students, teachers and staff.
Mission: To organize programs and events to create new learning opportunities, fund school initiatives, and boost morale. To encourage parents to engage and volunteer in school programs, united in a common goal of supporting Babcock Schools students and their teachers.
Current Goals: Our current fundraising efforts support three key initiatives: literary resources, new playground equipment, and PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention Systems), all of which aim to enhance student learning, well-being, and foster a positive school culture.
Parents and community members can be involved in various ways through ongoing volunteer opportunities throughout the year. From gathering resources to helping with behind-the-scenes prep to assisting on event day, and even supporting teachers from home, there’s a place for you to contribute that fits your schedule and strengths.
