A Message to Parents of Student Athletes

Welcome to Babcock Neighborhood School/Babcock High School Athletics! We are very excited to have you as a part of our athletic programs. This school year is our first year offering an extensive level of middle school and high school sports programming. With our entire school only now in its sixth year of existence, it is amazing and exciting to see how quickly we are growing both academically and in the world of athletics.

We are currently considered a “Combined” school by the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA), which means our Middle School student-athletes (Grades 6-8) can compete at the JV and Varsity levels. We currently offer 12 middle school athletics programs (some co-ed) for girls and boys and 14 programs at the high school level.

Our goal is to allow our student-athletes the opportunity to compete against schools of similar size and values. Sportsmanship, teamwork, integrity, and work ethic are just a few of the life skills we want our student-athletes to take with them far beyond the athletic fields and courts. We want to create world changers and provide the skill sets necessary for our student-athletes to achieve their dreams and goals in life!

We are only in the beginning stages of our athletics department. We want our school community to rally behind our sports teams and create a sense of family, unity, and togetherness moving forward. With our enrollment numbers increasing each and every year, we hope to only continue to expand our sports offerings. We are excited to start his journey, and we are excited to have you on board the bus!

GO TRAILBLAZERS!

Sincerely,

Jeff Irwin
